Description

The Plurinational State of Bolivia, through the Electricity Infrastructure Expansion Program (PEIE), has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Within the framework of this program, it is proposed to use part of the funds for consulting services for the implementation of Program P. This initiative seeks to integrate social and equity aspects within infrastructure projects, focusing on the promotion of active fatherhood and co-responsibility in care, key elements for social development and the reduction of gender gaps in the intervened communities.

Scope of the consultancy
The services are part of a focus on social development and community strengthening:

Training: Design and implementation of workshops on active fatherhood and new masculinities.

Program P Management: Comprehensive coordination and monitoring of family co-responsibility strategies.

Social Measurement: Baseline survey and application of measurement tools to evaluate the impact of the program on families and communities.

Awareness-raising: Development of social communication strategies aimed at behaviour change and the prevention of gender-based violence.

Qualification Requirements
The selection will be made under the Selection Based on Consultants' Qualifications (SCC) method, in accordance with IDB policies (GN-2350-15). Interested firms must accredit:

Proven Experience: Track record in design and management of social or educational projects focused on behavior and gender change.

Institutional Linkage: Ability to articulate with public and private entities and international cooperation organizations.

Specialization: Experience in gender equality issues, care, new masculinities and social measurement tools.

Partnerships: The formation of joint ventures or subcontracting to improve the qualifications of the proposer is permitted.
