Description

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) invites specialized consulting companies to submit their proposals to carry out the topobathymetric survey of the lower basin of the Napostá Grande Creek, the Maldonado Canal and the main rainwater discharges in the urban ejido of Bahía Blanca, Province of Buenos Aires.

The general objective is to plan, execute and process field studies for the geometric characterization of approximately 12 kilometers of watercourses (5 km of natural section and 7 km of channeled section) and their associated hydraulic structures, obtaining precise data delimited under the standards of the National Geographic Institute (IGN) and POSGAR Faja 4 projection.

1. Technical scope and key activities
Institutional planning and articulation: Design the work plan and the distribution of measurement points in coordination and direct consensus with the technical team of the Water Authority (ADA) and the Municipality of Bahía Blanca.

Fieldwork and measurements: Carry out topographic and bathymetric surveys in cross-sections, bridges, passes, accesses, culverts and rainwater discharges using specialized technology (differential GPS, total station, echosounder and topographic level).

Data processing and modeling: Organize, analyze, and validate the physical information collected using engineering software and geographic information systems (AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, among others).

Deliverable product formats: Consolidate information into:

Files .xlsx with the official point cloud and geographic coordinates.

.dwg plans (AutoCAD) with profiles and bounded points.

Vector layers in .shp structured for integration into a GIS.

Exhaustive photographic record of each section and hydraulic structure surveyed.

2. Minimum requirements of the consulting company
Accredited experience: Demonstrate specific background in the execution of similar topobathymetric surveys in the last 3 years, preferably in highly complex urban environments.

Operational capacity and technology: Have adequate equipment that can be adapted to the various hydraulic and access conditions present in the study area (variations in depth, water levels and vegetation).

Legal and regulatory compliance: Have current authorizations to operate within the Argentine national territory, as well as comply with the required safety protocols, operating licenses and insurance policies.

Note: Interested companies should review the requirements on the BEO Bidder Portal.
