Bolivia, through the Agency for Health Infrastructure and Medical Equipment (AISEM), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program for the Improvement of Accessibility to Maternal and Neonatal Health Services in Bolivia." This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the provision of hospital technological equipment.
Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition of technology and information management equipment (servers and other related components) for the strengthening of the Madre Obrera, San Salvador, Potosí, El Alto Sur and El Alto Norte hospitals.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is governed by the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures established in the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods.
Financial capacity: Presentation of audited financial statements or other supporting documents corresponding to the last financial years.
Specific experience: Demonstration of contracts and/or invoicing completed for at least 10% of the reference value of the items to which you apply in recent years.
Technical and manufacturer documentation: Submit technical catalogs of the goods (with simple translation into Spanish if applicable), preventive maintenance plan and the Manufacturer's Authorization if the bidder is not the direct producer.
Margin of preference: No margin of economic preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).
Required guarantee: It is mandatory to attach the Statement of Maintenance of the Offer together with the proposal.
Management and submission of bids
Access to the rules: The bidding documents in Spanish are available by written request via email to the executing entity or for download on the official SICOES portal.
Delivery method: Bids must be delivered physically and in a sealed envelope at the AISEM offices in La Paz. Electronic bids will not be allowed and late submissions will be rejected. The public opening ceremony will allow representatives to attend in person or via online connection.
