Description
The objective of the programme is to contribute to the improvement of the health of Jamaica's population by strengthening comprehensive policies for the prevention of Non-Communicable (Chronic) Diseases (NCDs)risk factors and improved access to an upgraded and integrated primary and secondary health network in prioritized areas with an emphasis on chronic disease management, that provide more efficient and higher quality care.The policy-based operation of this hybrid programme is the first of a programmatic policy-based loan series, which will be made up of two contractually independent and technically linked loans, as per document Policy-based Loans Guidelines for Preparation and Implementation (CS-3633-2).
Description of services:
- The consulting services are for a consulting firm to prepare and finalize appropriate detailed designs including the Bills of Quantities, technical specifications and budgets for the construction and rehabilitation of four (4) health facilities identified in Clarendon and St. Ann. Additionally, the consulting firm is to provide technical assistance services regarding the designs during the implementation of all engineering works and associated services for the four facilities as detailed in the Terms of Reference (TOR).
