Description
Implementation Objective
The objective is to supply, install, configure and migrate all live services from the existing MPLS core and aggregation sites to the equipment specified in the Bill of Quantities, and a specification to the extent that it provides the necessary connectivity between the intended sites traversing via the upgraded MPLS Backbone. The installer is required to update the existing network design document, and to provide detailed documentation relating to changes made to the network topology.
The contractor will:
- Supply and install all the equipment specified in the bill of quantities per designated functions.
- Install all the equipment specified in the bill of quantities and specification as per manufacturer’s instructions. All installations must be certified.
- Migrate the existing MPLS Core and Aggregation Sites to the designated equipment specified in the bill of quantities.
- Configure all the equipment installed with the provided IP address and information to establish services for the individual Customer Edge locations back to aggregation points and Data Centers over the GovNet MPLS Network.
- Develop and execute the quality plan for Installation, testing the deployed network components.
