The objectives of the consultancy are: (i) increase international and domestic tourist spending per visitor; (ii) increase tourism employment, particularly formal employment, and reduce gender gaps at the sector level; (iii) increase private investment in tourism, (iv) strengthen the sector's institutional capacity, and (v) reinforce the environmental sustainability of Salvadoran tourist destinations.
