Description
The Republic of Honduras, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Support Program for Labor Insertion in Honduras. This call aims to hire a firm to supervise the rehabilitation and equipment of the model employment offices in the towns of Choluteca, Danlí and El Progreso. The project seeks to transform traditional spaces into open-concept offices, more efficient and collaborative, in order to optimize attention to citizens and strengthen the infrastructure of social services in the country.
Scope of the consultancy
- Civil Works Supervision: Control the processes of physical rehabilitation and reorganization of the architectural components in the three single-level buildings.
- Space Transformation: Ensure that the transition from traditional office to open office space meets the intended design and functionality standards.
- Equipment: Supervise the correct installation of the supplies and equipment necessary for the operation of the model offices.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the restoration process complies with current regulations and the deadlines stipulated for commissioning.
Qualification Requirements
- General Experience: Supervision of at least 5 civil works projects with construction amounts equal to or greater than L 50,000,000.00 per contract.
- Specific Experience: Have supervised at least 3 civil works projects with supervision contracts of L 8,500,000.00 or more.
- Dimensions and Restoration: Supervision of at least 5 building projects with minimum areas of 800 m² and one (1) building project within the historic center.
- Process: A short list of between 5 and 8 firms will be formed. Joint venture partnership or sub-consultant inclusion is permitted.
