Description
Bolivia, through the Ministry of Environment and Water (through the Technical Executing Unit UTEP PATRIA AGUA), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "National Program of Technified Irrigation with a Basin Approach I". This call invites eligible consulting firms to submit their expressions of interest for the technical and environmental supervision of water infrastructure works.
Scope of the consultancy
Main objective: Comprehensive technical and environmental supervision for the construction project of the Kollpa Pampa dam and irrigation system in Icla.
Key functions: Quality control of the works, environmental inspection and guarantee of compliance with the contractual terms by the executing contractor.
Estimated duration: Execution period of 570 calendar days.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
Institutional profile: Legally constituted consulting firm belonging to IDB member countries.
Specific Experience: Demonstrate experience in technical or environmental supervision services on related projects for the past twelve (12) years.
Participation restrictions: Not have two (2) or more contracts in force with the convening unit (unless they prove a physical progress equal to or greater than 70%) or participate simultaneously in more than one offer (either individually or as a member of an APCA).
Proposal selection and management
Regulatory framework: Process conducted according to the IDB's Policies for the Selection and Hiring of Consultants (GN-2350-15) for the formation of a short list of five (5) to eight (8) firms.
Delivery modality: The application of individual or associated firms (APCA/Joint Venture) is allowed. Expressions of interest can be delivered in digital format via email or in physical format at the offices of UTEP PATRIA AGUA in La Paz.
