Supervision of the construction of the Berlin tourist viewpoint, Berlin district, municipality of Usulután Norte, department of Usulután

Description

The Republic of El Salvador has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Program to Support the Recovery and Expansion of the Tourism Sector in El Salvador and will use part of the funds to finance this consultancy. The operation is ES-L1151 and the loan agreement is 5590/OC-ES.

The Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador invites eligible consulting firms to submit expressions of interest to supervise the construction of the Berlin Tourist Viewpoint, located in the Berlin district, municipality of Usulután Norte, department of Usulután. The services include the supervision, monitoring and control of the works, ensuring compliance with the approved design, quality standards, national regulations and technical specifications.

The selection will be made in accordance with the IDB's consulting policies. Firms must demonstrate experience in the supervision of construction projects during the last ten years. The evaluation will assign 30 points to general experience and 70 to specific experience in infrastructures of similar characteristics, requiring a minimum of 70 points to be part of the short list, made up of between five and eight firms.

Works supervision projects will be valued for amounts between USD 300,000 and more than USD 700,000, duly accredited and completed or with a minimum progress of 80%. The same experience may not be used for both categories. Partnerships and subcontracting are allowed, as well as the electronic submission of expressions of interest.
