Description
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is calling on consulting firms to strengthen the management of registries and statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER) in Mexico, through the integration of technological and methodological tools to improve sectoral decision-making.
1. Interoperability and diagnosis of patterns
- Institutional mapping: Exhaustive analysis of SADER's current records, files and systems to identify duplications and inconsistencies in data quality.
- Interoperability plan: Design of a technical strategy to allow the smooth connection between existing systems, optimizing traceability and cost efficiency.
2. Georeferencing and comprehensive records
- Standardized protocols: Creation of methodologies for the capture and validation of geographic coordinates in productive units, focused on small and medium-sized producers.
- Comprehensive Registry: Design of a georeferenced model that links SADER programs with updated spatial productive information.
3. Remote sensing and remote sensing
- Technological inventory: Evaluation of capabilities, infrastructure and human resources available for the analysis of satellite images.
- Sensor selection: Identification of suitable and cost-effective platforms and sensors for the different crops and regions of Mexico.
- Calibration and validation: Design of protocols to verify remote estimates in the field, ensuring the generation of reliable statistics.
