The IDB intends to contract consulting services to support the Implementation Capacity Of Caribbean Blue Economy Clusters And Value Chains. This project is being developed with the Compete Caribbean Partnership Facility.
The Compete Caribbean Partnership Facility (CCPF) is seeking a consultant to support Grenada’s GNExTT cluster to execute a National ICCAT Strategy for Grenada and to conduct Activities 1, 3, 5 and 7 from the Comprehensive Fishery Improvement Project (C-FIP). The goal of GNExTT is to improve the operational efficiency of the supply chain and the market value of fish products, primarily Yellow Fin tuna. Central to the achievement of this goal is the introduction and use of supply chain traceability technology and other modern fishing practices to improve the quality of fish products.
The main objective of this consultancy is to propel Grenada’s Fisheries industries towards MSC certification through the implementation of key activities highlighted in the C-FIP workplan. More specifically the firm will integrate and develop the national strategy of Grenada towards an ICCAT standard and support improvements to Grenada’s fishing practices.
