Description
The Republic of El Salvador, through the Secretariat of Innovation of the Presidency, has launched an international public tender for the acquisition of technological equipment aimed at improving connectivity in public places in the country. This initiative is part of the "Social Digital Connectivity Program", jointly financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Korea Fund and a non-reimbursable contribution from the European Union, all funds administered by the IDB.
The purpose of the tender is the acquisition of ten lots of equipment that include tablets, laptops, switches of different capacities, access points, UPS and batteries, with an estimated total budget of 9,697,365 dollars. In addition to the goods, training associated with the use of some equipment, especially those linked to networks, is contemplated. The delivery of the goods must be made within 90 calendar days per lot, counted from the signing of the contract.
