Description
The Republic of Peru has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Road Infrastructure Program for Regional Competitiveness (Proregion 2). Through the Ministry of Transport and Communications (ProvĂas), it seeks to improve connectivity and competitiveness in the areas of influence of the selected road corridor.
The project consists of the comprehensive management and maintenance of various sectors of Road Corridor No. 37 (Sector A), covering strategic routes in the Cusco region, such as Checacupe, Laguna Sibinacocha, Paruro, Acomayo and Sangarará. The objective is to ensure that the track meets specific quality standards for an extended period of 1827 days (approximately 5 years).
The scope of services includes:
Road management: Administration and operation of the corridor to guarantee permanent passability.
Improvement: Execution of works aimed at raising the technical standard of the current infrastructure.
Maintenance by service levels: Routine and periodic maintenance based on compliance indicators (such as roughness, pavement condition and signage).
Emergency Response: Capacity to respond to climatic or geological events that affect the road.
Bidding is governed by International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures. Bidders must comply with technical and financial qualification requirements detailed in the specifications, and must submit a Declaration of Bid Maintenance in lieu of an initial bank guarantee.
Note: Tender documents and annexes are available in the original language of the country.
