Description
The Republic of Ecuador, through the Ministry of the Interior, is developing the Programme for the Prevention and Response to Violence and Crime in Ecuador (PREVIC), financed by the Inter-American Development Bank through loan 5932/OC-EC.
The Ministry of the Interior invites eligible companies and organizations to participate in a Request for Information (RFI) to assess the market's capacities in terms of design, construction, furniture and basic equipment of Civic Centers for Life and Peace (CCVP). These centers seek to prevent violence and the recruitment of children and adolescents through community spaces for educational, cultural, sports and psychosocial support activities.
The reference scope includes centers of approximately 1,500 m², with capacity for 300 daily users, including administrative spaces, workshops, auditorium, indoor court, police module and basic equipment. It is considered an integrated design and construction contracting model, with a total reference period of 740 days, including the period of responsibility for defects.
The survey collects information on experience in similar projects, technical capabilities, deadlines, risks, financial conditions and execution alternatives. As preliminary references, an annual turnover of USD 900,000, liquid assets or access to credit of USD 500,000 and experience in at least two design projects and two construction projects of similar characteristics are indicated.
This RFI is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a call for tenders or a formal invitation to submit bids. Participation does not generate contracting obligations or preferential rights in future processes.
Note: The application documents and their annexes are available in the original language of the country.
