Purchase of New Vehicles for DoTC

Description

The Republic of Suriname has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Fiscal Support Program to Restore Growth and will use part of the funds to finance this contract. The operation is SU-L1060 and the loan agreement is 5727/OC-SU.

The Ministry of Finance and Planning invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the acquisition of vehicles for the Directorate of Taxes and Customs (DoTC), with the aim of strengthening its operational capacities.

The contract is divided into five lots: Lot 1, 13 double-cab pickup trucks with 4x4 traction; Lot 2, 4 minibuses; Lot 3, 5 SUV vehicles with front-wheel drive or 4x4; Lot 4, 5 sedans with front-wheel drive or 4x4; and Lot 5, 2 station wagons with front-wheel drive. Bidders may submit proposals for one or more lots, which will be evaluated individually.

Procurement will be conducted through International Public Bidding (IPL), in accordance with IDB policies. Qualification requirements include manufacturer authorization, after-sales services, availability of spare parts, warranty coverage, and prior experience in the supply of similar goods. No national margin of preference will be granted.

Bids must be physically submitted and accompanied by a Bid Maintenance Statement. Electronic submission will not be permitted.
