Public works contract for rehabilitation, maintenance, and financing of road infrastructure within the public domain strip on Route 8, Circuit 3: 310k000 – 457k500 – Maintenance of Sustainable Assets

Uruguay, through the Corporación Vial del Uruguay (CVU) with the management of the National Development Corporation (CND), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program to Support the Improvement of the Quality of Spending on Transport Infrastructure in Uruguay". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit proposals for road intervention and investment.

Scope of the works
Main objective: Rehabilitation, maintenance and financing of the road infrastructure in the public domain strip of Route 8, Circuit 3 (section 310k000 – 457k500), under the Sustainable Asset Maintenance scheme.

Execution period: The stipulated period of the contract is 7 years.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is conducted in strict adherence to the Policies for the Acquisition of Goods and Works financed by the IDB (LPI).

Evaluation criteria: Proof of background in contracts of similar characteristics, technical capacity, availability of equipment and financial solvency.

Cost of specifications and registration: The specifications have a cost of UYU 60,000 (Uruguayan pesos), payable by bank transfer after registration in the CVU Registry of Suppliers.

Required Guarantee: The constitution of a Bid Maintenance Guarantee (GMO) for a value of USD 450,000 is required, which must be physically delivered to the contracting party for its corresponding approval.

Management and submission of bids
Access to the bases and consultations: The specifications are obtained through the CVU Supplier Registry portal. Only companies that have purchased the specifications will be able to make formal inquiries via email.

Delivery and opening method: Proposals must be sent in electronic format according to the procedure indicated. The opening will be managed electronically by the acting notary and then the minutes with the proposals will be published on the institutional website for review by the participants.
