Description

Ecuador, through the Ministry of Public Health, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program to Support the Reduction of Child Malnutrition in Ecuador". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the reproduction and printing of official medical material.

Scope of supply
Main objective: Comprehensive service of printing, reproduction and delivery of the Comprehensive Maternal and Child Health Booklets for the care centers of the Ministry of Public Health.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is governed by the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures established in the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods.

Evaluation criteria: Comprehensive compliance with the legal requirements, financial capacity and technical specifications detailed in the bidding documents.

Margin of preference: A margin of economic preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).

Required guarantee: It is mandatory to attach the Bid Maintenance Statement to the proposal.

Management and submission of bids
Access to the rules: The bidding documents in Spanish are available for consultation and download on the official portal of the executing entity.

Delivery modality: Bids must be submitted in physical form and in a sealed envelope at the IDB Project offices within the Government Platform for Social Development in Quito. Electronic bids will not be allowed and late proposals will be rejected. The public opening ceremony will be held in person with the option of online attendance.
