Description
Honduras, through the Ministry of Security, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program for the Comprehensive Modernization and Professionalization of the Services of the National Police of Honduras." This call seeks to prequalify contractor companies interested in the development of the new institutional infrastructure.
Scope of the works
The project includes the comprehensive execution of all the permanent and temporary works necessary for the construction, completion and commissioning of the National Police Academy (ANAPO). Activities include:
Construction and engineering: Supply of materials, equipment, labor, transportation, assembly, system testing, and final site cleaning.
Technical component: Preparation of As-Built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, training of personnel and correction of faults during the defect notification period.
Size of the complex: The work will be developed on a 26-hectare plot of land in the community of Támara (Francisco Morazán). It will have a constructed area of 24,000 m² distributed in academic, administrative, residential, sports and service buildings, designed to house 400 people.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is governed by the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB (GN-2349-15), and is open to bidders from eligible countries of origin.
Evaluation: Interested parties must provide documentation that demonstrates their suitability in accordance with the Qualification Criteria and Requirements established in Section III of the specifications.
Process management and channels
Access to the bases: Official documents in Spanish can be reviewed and downloaded digitally on the Honducompras portal, or requested in writing for submission.
Clarifications and support: Inquiries and requests for information are answered via email through the General Coordination of the program. A virtual meeting is also contemplated to resolve technical doubts about the process.
Delivery method: Prequalification applications must be sent in writing (in person or by courier) in a duly marked sealed and tamper-proof envelope.
