The Republic of Peru has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Investment Program: Improvement of the Quality of Higher and Technical-Productive Education Services at the National Level". This call for the Selection of Consultants, managed by the Ministry of Education, invites eligible firms to express their interest in contracting specialized engineering, structural design and architectural services.
Scope of the consultancy
Engineering development and design: Comprehensive preparation of the final Technical File (specialty studies, architectural, structural, installation plans, budgets and technical specifications) that will serve as the basis for the subsequent execution of the infrastructure and equipment works.
Beneficiary institution: Professional Academic School (E.A.P.) of Biology and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the National University of Cajamarca, with the purpose of optimizing undergraduate learning and scientific research environments.
Location and registration: The project is located in the district, province and department of Cajamarca, and is identified with the Unique Investment Code CUI 2561950.
Qualification requirements and assessment points
Signature experience: Call for applications addressed to legal entities that demonstrate technical capacity and a proven track record in the provision of design services or preparation of technical files. The submission of corporate portfolios, brochures, descriptions of similar projects developed under complex or analogous conditions and an optimal track record of contract compliance is required.
Selection method: Consulting firms will be evaluated and selected through the Quality and Cost Based Selection (SBCC) modality, in accordance with the procurement and contracting policies for projects financed by the IDB (GN-2350-15).
Associations and consortia: Interested companies may apply individually or associate under the Joint Venture modality, as well as propose the inclusion of specialized subcontractors to complement or improve the qualifications of the consulting team.
Shortlist: The evaluation of expressions of interest will determine the selection of a shortlist composed of a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of eight (8) eligible consulting firms.
