Description
Honduras, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Support Program for Labor Insertion in Honduras (PAILH)." This call invites eligible consulting firms to submit their expressions of interest for the conduct of labor market studies and the curricular development of professional technical training.
Scope of the consultancy
Main objective: To carry out territorial prospective studies on the demand for human talent and to implement the design or updating of competency-based Vocational Technical Training (VTP) programs and modules.
Service Components:
Prospective studies: Survey of information on labor demand, production trends and training gaps in 11 municipalities (distributed in 5 regions) for sectors such as Agribusiness, Tourism, Construction, Manufacturing and Financial Services, with a focus on groups of special attention (women, youth, people with disabilities, among others).
Curriculum development: Design and updating of FTP programs, development of didactic materials, training of instructors and recommendations for the sustainability and scalability of the model.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
Firm Profile: Legally constituted consulting firm with demonstrable technical expertise in:
Studies and research on labor demand, evaluation of training supply and analysis of gaps in productive sectors.
Design or curricular updating of professional technical training programs under the competency-based approach.
Documentary accreditation: Presentation of a detailed matrix of projects (scope, exact duration in months/years and amounts) accompanied by copies of contracts, certificates or certificates that accredit the declared experience.
Proposal selection and management
Regulatory framework: Selection conducted in accordance with the IDB's Consulting Policies for the integration of a short list of between five (5) and eight (8) eligible firms.
Modality and submission: Individual, joint venture or subcontractor participation permitted. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing in physical format.
