Description

Panama, through the Ministry of Culture, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the program "Support for the Conservation and Management of Cultural and Natural Heritage". This call invites eligible consulting firms to submit their expressions of interest for the preparation of the museological plan of the Reina Torres de Araúz Museum and the accompaniment in its implementation.

Scope of the consultancy
Main objective: Preparation of a comprehensive Museological Plan conceived as a reference document and regulatory framework for the planning, cultural management, heritage conservation and sustainability of MARTA.

Specific objectives:

Design of the museological, institutional and organizational strategy.

Planning and support in the implementation of infrastructure, systems and equipment for administrative offices.

Formulation of the institutional regulatory and operational framework.

Definition of the bases for curatorial programming.

Preparation of the comprehensive strategic plan aimed at sustainability and tourism and educational management.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
Institutional profile: Detailed profile of the firm, consortium or association (identifying the leading firm in the case of APCA/Joint Venture).

Accredited experience: Description of previous work and projects developed by the firm that are directly related to the scope and objective of the consultancy.

Documentary support: Labor certifications or certificates of compliance that support the declared technical experience.

Proposal selection and management
Regulatory framework: Selection conducted in accordance with the IDB's Consulting Policies for the formation of a short list of between five (5) and eight (8) eligible firms.

Delivery method: Written presentation in physical format at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture (Tula Building, 8th Floor, Panama City). Proposals by electronic means are not allowed.

Partnerships: Individual firms, joint ventures (APCA) or sub-consultants are allowed to apply.
