Description
Bolivia, through the Agency for Health Infrastructure and Medical Equipment (AISEM), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to co-finance the "Program for the Improvement of Accessibility to Maternal and Neonatal Health Services in Bolivia". This call for National Public Bidding (LPN) invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the provision of high-priority hospital supplies and equipment.
Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition and installation of specialized medical and non-medical equipment.
Health centers destined: San Salvador de Ocuri Second Level Hospital and Madre Obrera de Llallagua Second Level Hospital.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Financial capacity: Submit audited financial statements or other supporting accounting documentation covering the last 3 years prior to the closing of the call.
Specific experience: Demonstrate the satisfactory execution and completion of at least 3 similar contracts within the last 5 years.
Documentary evidence and support: Provide complete catalogs of the proposed assets (with simple translation into Spanish if the original language is different) along with a formal plan for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Technical and manufacturing capacity: Prove a minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacture of products of a similar nature and complexity. The annual production capacity must be at least 5 times equivalent to the quantities requested in the contract for each of the last 3 years. If you are not the direct manufacturer of any item, the corresponding Manufacturer's Authorization will be required.
Margin of preference: No margin of economic preference or weighting will be granted to national contractors or APCA-type associations.
Access to the bases and presentation: The Bidding Documents in Spanish are available for consultation and submission through the official SICOES platform. Bids must be sent in physical format and a sealed envelope to the address of AISEM in La Paz. For this process, electronic bids will not be allowed and any late application will be automatically rejected. The formal opening ceremony will have the option of face-to-face or virtual attendance.
Guarantee of seriousness: All proposals must be accompanied by a Statement of Maintenance of the Offer to validate the participant's commitment.
