Integrated project that includes the development of plans, works and equipment of public spaces and construction of the sanitary sewerage system in Taboga

Description

Panama, through the Tourism Authority of Panama, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program for the Integral Urban Development of Cities with a Tourist Vocation". This call for National Public Bidding (LPN 005-2026) invites eligible bidders to submit proposals for the design and construction of urban infrastructure and sanitation works in Taboga.

Scope of the works
Main objective: Development of studies, socialization, preparation of construction plans, execution of works, equipment of public spaces and construction of the sanitary sewer system in Taboga.

Estimated amount and deadlines: Budget of USD 2,600,000.00 (global award) with a total execution period of 575 calendar days (180 days for studies and plans, 365 days for construction and 30 days for the closing of the contract).

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is governed by the IDB's Procurement of Goods and Works Policies through National Public Bidding.

Consortia (APCA): The participation of accidental associations with a maximum number of two (2) member companies is allowed.

Exclusivity of participation: A company may not participate in more than one bid (either individually, as part of an APCA or as a subcontractor). Violation of this rule will result in the disqualification of the bids involved.

Documentation: Requirement of supporting documentation (diplomas, certifications, references), which must be duly notarized or apostilled at the time of award.

Management and submission of bids
Access to the bases and management: The publication of the tender, clarifications, amendments and resolutions will be channeled through the PanamáCompra portal and the IDB website.
