Description
Guatemala, through the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to co-finance the "Program for the Strengthening of the Institutional Network of Health Services" (Proriss). This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the optimization of the technological infrastructure of the health sector.
Scope of Services
Main objective: Contracting of specialized services for the installation, configuration and certification of structured cabling systems for data networks.
Project Location: Interventions will be carried out in previously prioritized health facilities within the departments of Huehuetenango and San Marcos.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Call Guidelines: The process will be carried out under the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures stipulated in the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB, being open to participants from all eligible countries of origin.
Evaluation criteria: Bidders must comply with the requirements detailed in Section III of the bidding document, which include:
Demonstrated financial capacity.
Specific experience in connectivity and network work of similar complexity.
Documentary evidence that supports the technical qualifications of the company.
Margin of preference: No technical or economic margin of preference will be granted to local contractors or national APCA-type associations.
Access to the bidding documents: The tender rules and technical annexes in Spanish are available for digital download through the Guatecompras System (under the identifier NOG 30962463) and in the authorized institutional repository.
Guarantee of seriousness: All proposals from interested parties must include a Declaration of Maintenance of the Bid to validate their application.
Delivery method: Technical and economic bids must be sent in a sealed envelope and in a strictly physical form at the offices of the PRORISS unit in Guatemala City. Bids by electronic means will not be permitted and any late bids will be rejected immediately. The opening of the envelopes will be broadcast both in person and online.
