Inspection of the Construction Work at Asphalt Level of the Road from El Puente del Amor to Los Hachos, Yantzaza Parish, Yantzaza Canton, Province of Zamora Chinchipe (Absc Section: 0+000-7+400)

Description

The Republic of Ecuador has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the PROVIAL 2 Rural Roads Program and intends to use part of the proceeds to finance consulting services. The operation is EC-L1289 and the loan agreement is 5811/OC-EC.
The State Bank, together with the Provincial GAD of Zamora Chinchipe, invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in the supervision and inspection of the asphalt-level construction of the road from the Puente del Amor to Los Hachos, in Yantzaza, province of Zamora Chinchipe. The section is 7.40 km long and includes widening of an existing bridge, slope stabilization, minor works of art and asphalting.
The services include the technical, administrative and financial control of the works, including preliminary works, soil improvement, pavement structure, longitudinal and transverse drainage, signage, complementary works, bridge and reinforced concrete walls.
Experience in inspection and/or supervision services of road infrastructure projects, preferably with asphalt and/or rigid pavement, executed during the last 15 years, is required. The short list will include between five and eight eligible firms. Individual participation, through APCA or with sub-consultants is allowed. Electronic submission of expressions of interest is not allowed.
