Description
The Republic of El Salvador, through the Ministry of Health (MINSAL), has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Smart and Comprehensive Health Program. This tender aims to guarantee the logistics of lodging for the technical teams and surveyors who will carry out the National Survey of Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) in various areas of the country, a critical input for the design of evidence-based public health policies.
The service consists of providing adequate accommodation in the Western, Central and Eastern health regions. The reference budget for this contract is US$ 136,729.05 (VAT included), under a contract modality for unit prices and a list of quantities. The term for the provision of these services is one (1) year from the formalization of the contract.
Key aspects of this tender include:
Geographical coverage: The service must be available in the three health regions mentioned to facilitate the deployment of health brigades.
Purpose of the service: To support the collection of data on chronic diseases, risk factors and health conditions of the Salvadoran population.
Payment method: It will be paid according to the services actually used (unit prices), without these being subject to adjustments for inflation or market changes during the term of the contract.
Delivery logistics: The services will be provided directly at the facilities of the successful bidder (hotels or accommodation centres).
To participate, bidders must meet the following qualification requirements:
Financial Capacity: An average annual turnover equivalent to at least one times the value of the bid submitted.
Experience: Prove at least two (2) previous contracts or work orders of a similar nature.
Guarantee: Submit a Statement of Maintenance of the Offer.
Submission: Bids must be physically delivered in a sealed envelope on April 23, 2026; Electronic deliveries are not permitted.
