Description
The Republic of Guatemala has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Infrastructure Program for Rural Electrification in Guatemala. The National Institute of Electrification (INDE) invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in providing supervision services for the construction of medium and low voltage distribution networks and power lines, corresponding to Block 2 of the program.
Scope of the consultancy
- Technical supervision: Supervision of the construction of electricity distribution networks and lines.
- Voltage levels: Intervention in medium and low voltage systems.
- Project scope: Infrastructure Program for Rural Electrification (Block 2).
- Institutional objective: To ensure quality and technical compliance in the expansion of the national electricity grid.
Qualification Requirements
- Short list: The process seeks to establish a list of between five (5) and eight (8) eligible signatures.
- Partnerships: Consultants may joint venture or include subcontractors to strengthen their qualifications.
- Firm Profile: Interested parties must provide information that demonstrates they possess the required qualifications and relevant experience for the provision of these services.
- Nationality: The nationality of the firm will be determined by the country of its legal incorporation; in cases of Joint Venture, the nationality of the designated representative will be taken.
