Description
The State of Bahia, Brazil, received funding from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to fund the Program for the Strengthening of the SUS in the State of Bahia - Prosus II. Within the scope of this program, the Health Secretariat of the State of Bahia (SESAB) invites eligible companies to submit proposals for the construction of five health units in the Macro Leste region. The project aims to strengthen the service network of the Unified Health System (SUS), providing modern and equipped facilities to meet the growing demand of the Bahian population.
Project scope
The bidding is inserted in the Health sector and comprises the following points:
Civil construction: Full execution of the works for the 5 health units.
Deadlines: The estimated time for the completion of the constructions is 12 months.
Location: The units belong to "Group 5", focused on the health region of the Macro East of the state.
Qualification and process requirements
The selection will follow the National Public Bidding (LPN) procedures with the two-envelope method and deferred opening of the financial proposal, in accordance with IDB rules. The essential details are:
Eligibility: Participation open to bidders from all IDB member countries, as defined in procurement policies.
Qualification: The specific technical and financial criteria are detailed in the Request for Proposal (SDP).
Guarantee: It is mandatory that the proposals are accompanied by a Declaration of Maintenance of the offer.
Submission: Proposals must be delivered physically in Salvador, Bahia; Electronic submission will not be allowed.
