Description

The Republic of Peru, through the Executing Unit 020 PRED-INIA of the National Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through Loan Agreement No. 5916/OC-PE for the project "Improvement of the Network of Agricultural Innovation, Technology Transfer and Technological Extension Services in Six Agricultural Experimental Stations of INIA". This Request for Information (RFI) is issued as a reference to analyse the capacities of the construction market before future tenders.

Batch project distribution
The future selection process will be convened in a structured manner in six (6) independent lots. Interested companies must specify in their response the lots of their interest:

Lot 1: Execution of Works in the EEA El Porvenir (San Martín - Tarapoto - Juan Guerra).

Lot 2: Execution of Works in the EEA Vista Florida (Lambayeque - Chiclayo - Picsi).

Lot 3: Execution of Works on the EEA Andenes (Cusco - Anta - Zurite).

Lot 4: Execution of Works in the EEA Baños del Inca (Cajamarca - Cajamarca - Baños del Inca).

Lot 5: Execution of Works in the EEA Santa Ana (Junín - Huancayo - El Tambo).

Lot 6: Execution of Works in the EEA Illpa (Puno - Puno).

Objective and nature of the request
Purpose of the RFI: To collect technical, operational, logistical and financial data on the market in order to optimize the structuring of the final specifications and define the contracting strategies for the works.

Non-binding: This requirement constitutes a prior and referential market study. It does not represent a formal invitation to submit bids nor does it generate contractual commitments, rights, advantages or any prequalification for future selection processes.

Profile and experience required
The call is aimed at national and international construction companies with demonstrable experience in buildings of similar size, such as:

Institutional headquarters, corporate offices or tax headquarters.

Housing complexes or multi-family buildings.

Research laboratories, science, innovation and technology transfer centres.

Higher education centers, second-level health establishments or public health laboratories.

Experience evaluation criteria: The experience accumulated in the last ten (10) years, equivalent to one times the estimated value of the project, obtained in a maximum of twenty (20) contracts, will be considered.

Conditions for the submission of information
Format and documentation: The answers must include the general information of the firm (or consortium) and the detail of its previous experience (contractor, amount, location and scope). It is allowed to include suggestions on deadlines and comments on construction or logistical risks of the areas.

Formal requirements: All information must be submitted in Spanish, in a clear and legible manner. The digital file size should not exceed 20 MB.
