Description
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) intends to hire consulting services for the Preparation of Water Safety Master Plans in prioritized Corredor Seco basins, in Honduras.
The services include the preparation of master plans for water security, to increase the availability of water in priority basins of the Dry Corridor in Honduras, and nearby growth poles; Likewise, the consulting firm will develop specific training and knowledge transfer activities to strengthen the capacities of MiAmbiente+ and other institutions responsible for the management of the study basins, as well as non-governmental organizations involved.
For this purpose, the consulting firm will address the following aspects:
- Identification, prioritization and dimensioning of management and control measures (planning infrastructure works and resource management measures);
- Formulation of Water Security Plans in two (2) prioritized basins in the Dry Corridor area, Honduras;
- Diagnostic analysis of functional capacities and institutional strengthening.
