Description
The Republic of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to partially finance the cost of the Program for the Strengthening of the Water and Sanitation Sector in El Salvador. The National Administration of Aqueducts and Sewers (ANDA) invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the design, supply and installation and commissioning services for the electromechanical modernization of the central pumping stations and the intake, of the northern zone system.
Scope of the offer
The services are part of the Water and Sanitation sector and include:
- Electromechanical modernization: Design, supply, installation and commissioning at the Central and La Toma pumping stations.
- Lead Time: Eighteen (18) months to complete the plant and installation services.
- Operational guarantees: Minimum total flow parameters of 1.8 m³/s for both stations, with pressures of 264 m.c.a. (EBC) and 178 m.c.a. (EBLT), and a minimum pump efficiency of 82%.
Qualification Requirements
The process will be carried out in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB:
- Evaluation: The most advantageous bid that meets the qualification criteria, substantially conforms to the document, and represents the lowest evaluated cost will be determined.
- Technical qualification: Evaluation under the "Complies or Fails" mechanism for the execution plan and operational parameters.
- Preference: A margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or APCAs.
