Description
Sociedad Agrícola y Servicios Isla de Pascua SpA (SASIPA) has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program for the Sustainability of Water and Electricity Services in Rapa Nui and will allocate part of these funds to the works described.
The works consist of the design, construction, monitoring and maintenance (lump sum turnkey modality) of a photovoltaic plant with battery storage system (BESS) in Mataveri, Easter Island, including hybrid integration with existing thermal generation.
Estimated total term: 1,076 calendar days (346 design + construction + 60 white march + 670 operation and maintenance).
SASIPA invites eligible bidders to submit bids in a sealed envelope through International Public Bidding (IPL), in accordance with the IDB Policies for the Acquisition of Goods and Works (current edition).
Open to bidders from eligible countries not sanctioned by the IDB.
Main qualification requirements:
- Average annual turnover ≥ USD 7,000,000 and liquid assets ≥ USD 2,000,000 (last 7 years, IFRS audited statements).
- Proven experience in the design and construction of photovoltaic plants + hybrid Solar-BESS systems with thermal systems operating simultaneously.
- Experience in operation and maintenance of power generation plants.
- Complete legal documentation (incorporation, powers of attorney, APCA agreement if applicable).
