Description
The Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program to Support the Recovery and Expansion of the Tourism Sector in El Salvador. The purpose of this call is to select a consulting firm for the design of three infrastructure and landscaping projects aimed at optimizing the visitor experience on the Surf City I and II circuits.
Scope of the consultancy
- Design projects: Comprehensive development of three specific works: improvement of a two-story office building on the existing structure in Punta Roca (La Libertad Costa), design of a pedestrian bridge in El Tunco (La Libertad Costa) and design of a concrete boardwalk in Punta Mango Beach (Usulután Este).
- Simultaneity: The contracted services of the three projects must be executed in parallel, requiring sufficient resources for their simultaneous attention.
- Execution period: The time established for the completion and delivery of the designs is 180 calendar days.
Qualification Requirements
- Design experience: Accreditation of projects designed in the last ten (10) years focused on infrastructure with buildings and landscaping (office buildings, resorts, recreational, sports, bridges, streets or boardwalks).
- Minimum score: Firms or consortia must achieve a minimum score of 70 points to be eligible; lower scores will be rejected.
- Required supports: Submission of expression of interest forms accompanied by simple copies of reception minutes, contracts or certificates, in addition to the company's legal documentation (articles of incorporation, powers of attorney and identity document of the signatory).
- Associations: Individual participation is allowed or under the figure of Joint Venture, Consortium or Association (APCA) and subcontractors.
