Medical and non-medical equipment for the tertiary level hospitals El Alto Sur and El Alto Norte

Bolivia, through the Agency for Health Infrastructure and Medical Equipment (AISEM), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to co-finance the "Program for the Improvement of Accessibility to Maternal and Neonatal Health Services in Bolivia". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the provision of highly complex specialized hospital equipment.

Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition, provision and installation of medical and non-medical equipment.

Health centers destined: El Alto Sur Third Level Hospital and El Alto Noerte Third Level Hospital, both located in the department of La Paz.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Financial capacity: Submit audited financial statements or other legal accounting supporting documentation covering the last 3 years prior to the closing of the call.

Specific experience: Demonstrate the satisfactory execution and completion of at least 3 contracts of a similar nature within the last 5 years.

Documentary evidence and support: Provide complete catalogs of the proposed assets (with simple translation into Spanish if the original language is different) along with a detailed plan of preventive and corrective maintenance.

Technical and manufacturing capacity: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacture of products of similar complexity. The annual production capacity must be at least 5 times equivalent to the quantities specified in the contract for each of the last 3 years. If you are not the direct manufacturer of the item, the corresponding Manufacturer's Authorization will be required.

Margin of preference: No margin of economic preference or weighting will be granted to national contractors or associations of the APCA type.

Access to the bases and presentation: The Bidding Documents in Spanish are available for consultation on the official SICOES platform or by direct request by email to AISEM. Bids must be sent in physical format and a sealed envelope to the entity's address in La Paz. For this process, electronic bids will not be allowed and any late application will be automatically rejected. The formal opening ceremony will have the option of face-to-face or virtual attendance.

Guarantee of seriousness: All proposals must be accompanied by a Declaration of Maintenance of the Offer to validate the commitment and seriousness of the participant.
