Description
The main objective is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the tax and customs management of the National Tax and Customs Directorate (Dirección de impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales, DIAN) and the specific objectives of the first operation of the Program are:
(i) Improve the institutional governance model to contribute to the effectiveness of tax and customs
(i) Improve the institutional governance model that contributes to the effectiveness of tax and customs management.
(ii) Improve the efficiency of technological management.
The program comprises three components:
- Component 1. Institutional Organization and Human Resources.
- Component 2. Tax and customs control and compliance.
- Technological Platform, Data and Information Security Component 3.
