Description
Ecuador, through the Ministry of the Interior, is financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through Loan 5932/OC-EC for the "Program for the Prevention and Response to Violence and Crime in Ecuador (PREVIC)". This call for National Public Bidding (LPN) invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids under the single lump sum liability modality.
Scope of the works
Main objective: Design, construction, provision of furniture and basic equipment for the Civic Center for Peace (CCVP) of Manta.
Execution time: The estimated time for the construction and delivery of the works is 330 days (until the issuance of the certificate of completion), plus a subsequent period of 360 days for the coverage of liability for defects.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is governed by the National Public Bidding procedures established in the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Goods and Works (GN-2349-15).
Evaluation criteria: The requirements cover the firm's experience, the required annual turnover and the suitability of key personnel.
Margin of Preference: No margin of economic preference will be granted to national contractors or associations (APCAs).
Guarantee required: All proposals must be accompanied by the Bid Maintenance Statement.
Management and submission of bids
Access to the rules: The tender documents in Spanish are available for download on the official portal of the Ministry of the Interior. For additional inquiries, the institutional email of the PREVIC program is enabled.
Delivery method: Bids must be submitted physically to the entity's address. Electronic bids will not be allowed and late submissions will be rejected. The public opening of envelopes will be carried out in person and with online transmission.
