Description
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is seeking to hire a firm to design institutional digital transformation strategies in up to four citizen security authorities (police, justice or prisons) in the Latin American and Caribbean region. The objective is to align technology with the strategic goals of each institution to improve operational management and service to citizens.
Key points of this consultancy:
1. Digital maturity diagnosis
The firm will carry out a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the technological and organizational capabilities of each authority. This diagnosis will serve to understand the level of digital maturity and the operational factors that will condition the design of the personalized strategy for each selected country.
2. Definition of IT objectives and initiatives
Lines of action: Support in the creation of digital and organizational initiatives that respond to critical security and justice needs.
Governance: Support in the definition of IT governance processes to ensure that the management of technology projects is sustainable and efficient within the organization.
3. Change planning and management
Dissemination and training: Development of materials for the internal and external communication of the new strategy, in addition to the design of the necessary training programs for officials.
Follow-up: Delivery of a validated strategy with a monitoring plan to ensure its correct implementation throughout the 30-month duration of the contract.
