Description

Ecuador, through the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the project "Strengthening the Innovation Ecosystem of the Ecuadorian Coast". This call invites eligible consulting firms to submit their expressions of interest for the comprehensive management and implementation of a specialized training program.

Scope of the consultancy
Main objective: Planning, academic coordination, logistical execution and comprehensive evaluation of the Diploma in University Extension in predominantly virtual mode with hybrid components.

Program structure: Delivery and development of six (6) modules (20 hours of workload per module) focused on:

Fundamentals and History of University Extension in Latin America.

Innovation, intermediation and collaborative systems.

Models of communication, dialogic education and knowledge.

Strategic planning and territorial intervention tools.

Methodologies and Participatory Action Research (PAR).

Workshop on critical reflection and accompaniment of the final integrative work.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
Institutional seniority: Legally constituted consulting firm with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience (mandatory requirement for each member in the case of consortia).

Specific experience: Accreditation of at least three (3) contracts executed in the last ten (10) years in management, design or direction of higher education, continuous training, innovation or community outreach programs, with a value equal to or greater than USD 5,775.00 for each project.

Evaluation method: Qualitative phase of eligibility followed by a quantitative ranking by score (up to 100 points) based on the total amount of accredited experience to make up a short list of five (5) to eight (8) firms.

Management and submission of bids
Modality of participation: The application of individual firms, in association (Joint Venture / APCA) or with the inclusion of sub-consultants is allowed.

Mode of submission: Expressions of interest may be sent in writing in physical format or electronically to ESPOL's contact channels.
