The Inter-American Development Bank invites consulting firms to submit their Expression of Interest to study and characterize the main value chains of the bioeconomy in the state of Amapá, Brazil, identifying opportunities to strengthen their competitiveness, sustainability and access to new markets.
1. Technical-economic characterization

2. Value chain analysis
Map actors, production processes, value generation and governance mechanisms, identifying technical and regulatory barriers, certification needs, traceability and quality control.
3. Evaluation and prioritization
Compare chains according to their commercial potential, productive capacity, innovation opportunities, value addition and social impact, prioritizing those with greater prospects for sustainable development.
4. Strategic recommendations
Propose actions for technical assistance, institutional strengthening, training, infrastructure and access to markets, promoting collaboration between producers, companies, universities and public institutions.
Interested companies should carefully review the registration requirements on the relevant IDB portal and ensure that all requested information is completed before submitting their Statement of Interest (EOI).
