Consultancy by product for the development of an action plan and gender policies of the Bolivian Highway Administration

Bolivia, through the Bolivian Highway Administration (ABC), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through Loan Agreement No. 5677/OC-BO for the execution of the "Territorial Connectivity and Development Program for Bolivia". This call invites legally established consulting firms to submit their expressions of interest.

Scope of the consultancy
Main objective: To hire a consulting company for the development of an action plan and gender policies applicable to the ABC.

Institutional purpose: To allow the mainstreaming of the gender approach and promote equal opportunities in all operational and administrative areas of the entity.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
Interested firms must belong to IDB member countries, have no conflicts of interest and prove the following track record:

General experience: Minimum of seven (7) years in the execution of consulting services.

Specific experience: Minimum of five (5) projects executed with similar characteristics in the last five (5) years.

Areas of specialization: Services for the preparation of participatory social diagnoses on gender issues will be considered, as well as the design of policies, gender plans or programs to strengthen inclusion and diversity in public institutions.

Presentation and conditions
Required documentation: Photocopies of the legal incorporation documents, NIT and/or SEPREC registration, signature identification form and experience matrix supported by simple copies of their respective final acceptance certificates. In the case of associations, each constituent company must attach its own endorsements.

Delivery method: The documentation will be received in both physical and digital format (PDF and editable format) at the offices of the ABC Contracting Unit in La Paz, or through the email channels authorized by the entity.

Selection: The process is governed by the IDB's Consulting Policies for the formation of a short list of between five (5) and eight (8) eligible firms.
