Consultancy for the preparation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP/PMAA), Stakeholder Participation Plan (PPPI), Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) and complementary environmental and social documents
The Inter-American Development Bank invites consulting firms to submit their Expression of Interest to prepare the environmental and social instruments for the Sabaneta II Hydropumped Energy Accumulation Project (250 MW), in the Dominican Republic, in accordance with national regulations and the IDB's Environmental and Social Policy Framework (ESPF).

1. Environmental and social assessment
Prepare the ESIA, including baseline, analysis of alternatives, identification of impacts and mitigation measures.

2. Management and participation plans
Develop the ESMP/PMAA, Stakeholder Engagement Plan (PPPI) and public consultation processes.

3. Biodiversity, climate and resettlement
Prepare biodiversity, disaster risk management and climate change plans, as well as resettlement and livelihood restitution instruments where appropriate.

4. Institutional management and documentation
Design the ESMS and environmental, social and safety specifications for works tenders, including editable technical documentation and support for the environmental authorisation process.
