Consultancy Development of an Accreditation System for Quality Assurance and Good Laboratory Practices of the National Network of Laboratories and External Evaluation

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has financed through loan 5032/OC-AR the "Public Health Immediate Response Project in the Framework of the COVID-19 Pandemic to Contain, Control and Mitigate its Effect on the Provision of Services of Health in Argentina", executed by the Ministry of Health of the Nation. For the development of this project, a Consulting Service is needed Development of a System of Accreditation of Quality Assurance and Good Practices of Laboratories of the National Network of Laboratories and External Evaluation for the Accreditation of Laboratories of the National Networks of Laboratories of the National Administration of Laboratories and Health Institutes “Dr. Carlos G. Malbrán” – ANLIS.

The general objective of the contracting that is promoted is to develop a tool for the analysis and measurement of the assurance and good quality practices of the laboratories of the ANLIS National Laboratory Networks, which allows recording and characterizing their evolution, knowing the scope of the services provided, and prepare the national map in its epidemiological, health, structural, social and economic dimensions. In order to contribute to improving the quality and strengthening the response capacity in timely detection in terms of epidemiology and reference diagnosis in microbiology, medical genetics, nutrition and communicable and non-communicable diseases, through external evaluation for accreditation of Laboratories of National Networks of Laboratories of the National Administration of Laboratories and Institutes of Health “Dr. Carlos G. Malbrán” – ANLIS.
