Description
The objective of this consultancy is to estimate the cost of protecting 30% of the ocean in LAC countries (GBF Target 3) under three alternative expansion scenarios. The consultancy firm will provide a detailed description of the alternative expansion scenarios and methodologies that will be used to estimate the total cost of protecting 30% of the ocean in LAC countries. It will estimate the total cost of protecting 30% of the ocean in LAC countries and, for each country, will report annual cost estimations under the three alternative scenarios, disaggregated by type of cost. A cost visualization dashboard and final report summarizing the main results of the consultancy will be provided.
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is executing the above-mentioned operation. For this operation, the IDB intends to contract consulting services described in this Request for Expressions of Interest.
