Description
The Inter-American Development Bank invites consulting firms to submit their Expression of Interest to evaluate the technical, hydraulic, operational and economic feasibility of alternatives for the diversion of dry weather flows from the sanitation system of Montevideo, Uruguay, to Punta Yeguas and Ciudad de la Costa.
1. Hydraulic Diagnostics and Flow Characterization
Analyze basins, current and future populations, wastewater inputs, and capacities of existing infrastructures, identifying constraints and overload risks.
2. Evaluation of referral alternatives
Study the diversion of flows from Quitacalzones and Arroyo Seco to Punta Yeguas, and from Carrasco North and East to Ciudad de la Costa, considering connections by gravity or pumping and possible infrastructure expansions.
3. Technical and economic analysis
Compare alternatives according to hydraulic performance, operation, maintenance, energy consumption, environmental impacts, risks and investment costs.
4. Recommendations and deliverables
Identify priority solutions, define subsequent studies and prepare calculation reports, hydraulic models, plans, diagrams and editable technical documentation.
Interested companies should carefully review the registration requirements on the relevant IDB portal and ensure that all requested information is completed before submitting their Statement of Interest (EOI).
