Construction of the new Cepred - Group 3

Description

The State of Bahia, through the Secretary of Health of the State of Bahia (SESAB), received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program to strengthen the SUS in the State of Bahia - PROSUS II.

The object of the bidding is the construction of the new facilities of the State Center for the Prevention and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (CEPRED). The project seeks to modernize rehabilitation care, ensuring full accessibility and technological support for SUS patients. The estimated period for the completion of the works is 12 months.

Key points of this work include:

Specialized infrastructure: Construction of offices, occupational therapy rooms, physiotherapy and prosthesis adaptation areas.

Universal accessibility: Implementation of rigorous universal design standards throughout the building.

Modernization of the SUS: Strengthening of the state health network within the efficiency goals of the PROSUS II program.

Deadline management: Accelerated execution by one year to meet the growing demand for rehabilitation services in Bahia.
