Construction of the National Police Academy

Description

Honduras has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank to partially finance the cost of the Program for the Comprehensive Modernization and Professionalization of the Services of the National Police of Honduras, and it is proposed to use part of the proceeds of this financing to make payments under the Contract detailed in the Request for Proposals. The Secretary of State in the Office of Security invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the comprehensive construction of the new campus of the National Police Academy (ANAPO). The scope includes administrative, academic, residential, sports, recreational, technological and service buildings, as well as road infrastructure, general networks, exterior works, associated equipment, testing, commissioning and final delivery. The request for proposal number is HO-L1227-P00192 (publication IDB-5831BLHO-P00192-SPN). The operation is HO-L1227 and the loan agreement is 5831/BL-HO.

It is an international public tender for works, in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB, open to bidders from eligible countries. The general notice was published on January 21, 2025 (IDB-P2165537-01/25).

The evaluation covers eligibility, bid conformity, qualification, technical compliance, economic evaluation, and combined evaluation. Bid maintenance guarantee is required in the amount of HNL $6,993,000.00. Electronic bids are not permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Opening is in person or online.
