Construction of irrigation system in Chimboata Canton (Pocona)

Description

Bolivia, through the Coordination and Execution Unit of the More Investment Program for Irrigation (UCEP - MI RIEGO), under the Ministry of Environment and Water, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "National Program of Technified Irrigation with a Basin Approach I". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL) aims to execute infrastructure to support the agricultural sector.

Project Scope
- Objective of the work: Integral construction and commissioning of the irrigation system in the Canton of Chimboata (Pocona).

- Estimated budget: The referential cost of the process amounts to the sum of BOB 37,826,468.22.

- Execution period: The estimated time for the final delivery of the works is 460 calendar days, counted from the official issuance of the Order to Proceed.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
- Regulatory framework: The selection process is strictly governed by the Policies for the Acquisition of Goods and Works Financed by the IDB (GN-2349-15).

- Evaluation criteria: Proponents must prove compliance with the requirements established in the bidding document, which include the validation of administrative, legal, technical, financial aspects and previous experience in hydraulic or irrigation works.

- National preference: For this international tender, no margin of preference will be granted to contractors or supplier associations (APCAs) of national origin.

- Seriousness Guarantee: All technical and economic proposals must be backed by a Bid Maintenance Guarantee for a value of BOB 378,264.68 (or its equivalent of USD 55,140.62).
