Description
The Republic of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Smart and Comprehensive Health Program, and it intends to use part of these funds for the execution of this health infrastructure project.
The Ministry of Health (MINSAL) is calling for eligible bidders for the construction of the new hospitalization building at the San Bartolo National Hospital. The work has an estimated execution period of 18 months and seeks to modernize the capacity of attention in San Salvador. Bidding is governed by International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures.
The qualification requirements for bidders are demanding and include:
- Financial Capacity: Average annual turnover per construction of at least USD$15,000,000.00 in the last 5 years and availability of liquid assets or lines of credit for a minimum of USD$5,000,000.00.
- Technical Experience: Have acted as main contractor in at least two (2) works of equivalent complexity in the last 15 years.
- Key Personnel: Mandatory availability of a Project Manager, Project Resident and Quality Control specialists.
- Guarantee: It is essential to present a Declaration of Maintenance of the Offer.
