Construction of complementary works to the Calderas dam (Tarija)

Description

Bolivia has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank to partially finance the cost of the National Technical Irrigation Program with a Basin Approach I, and it is proposed to use part of the proceeds of this financing to make payments under the Contract detailed in the Request for Proposals. The Ministry of Environment and Water invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the construction of complementary works to the Calderas dam (Tarija). The bottom of the notice identifies the agency as the Ministry of Sustainable Production, Environment and Water. The request for proposal number is BO-L1226-P00499 (publication IDB-5721OCBO2-P00499-SPN). The operation is BO-L1226 and the loan agreement is 5721/OC-BO-2.

It is an international public tender for works, in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB, open to bidders from eligible countries according to the bidding documents. The text indicates an estimated construction period of 490, without specifying the unit. The qualification covers administrative, legal, financial, guarantees, technical and experience aspects.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid maintenance guarantee in the printed amount BOB $36,982,483.67. Electronic bids are not accepted. Late bids will be rejected. Opening is in person or online.
