Description
The State of Bahia, Brazil, received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to fund the Program for the Strengthening of the SUS in the State of Bahia - Prosus II. Within the scope of this program, the Secretary of Health of the State of Bahia (SESAB) invites eligible companies to submit proposals for the construction of seven Basic Health Units (UBS) for the care of indigenous populations. This project aims to expand access to primary health services and ensure adequate infrastructure for the specific needs of traditional communities in the region.
Project scope
The bidding is categorized in the Health sector and comprises:
Civil construction: Complete construction of 7 health units according to technical specifications.
Deadlines: The estimated time for the execution of the works is 9 months.
Location: The units are part of "Group 7" of the expansion schedule of the state health network.
Qualification and process requirements
The selection will be carried out through National Public Bidding (LPN), using the two-envelope method with deferred opening of the financial proposal, following IDB policies. Key points include:
Eligibility: Open to bidders from IDB member countries as defined in the bidding documents.
Qualification: Bidders must meet the technical and financial criteria detailed in the Request for Proposal (SDP).
Guarantee: All bids must be accompanied by an Offer Maintenance Statement.
Submission: Proposals must be delivered physically in Salvador, Bahia; Electronic proposals will not be allowed.
